Recycle/Reuse Earth Day Yard Sale Held in conjunction with Earth Celebration Day & Festival of Art on Saturday, April 27, 2013. During the yard sale, visitors enjoy the thrill of the chase as they look for bargains or sell thier own discards for extra cash. It's a win-win situation as we make money on the space rentals! Chesapeake Bay Supper Here’s an event that’s definitely all it’s cracked up to be! On Friday, June 21, 2013, members, friends, and families will come together at Waynesboro Country Club to support Renfrew Institute with a fabulous evening of food, fun, and frolic. Salamander Scramble Thursday, July 4, 2013.

Put on your running/walking shoes and join us as we “scramble” along the streets of Waynesboro during the annual Fourth of July Jubilee Firecracker 5K Race. We call our “sub-event” the Salamander Scramble, with team members securing funding pledges from friends, family, and co-workers. “Salamanders” head to the finish line on behalf of Renfrew Institute! Get our 2013 registration form and pledge form here. Race fees and free T-shirt provided. Team members may send entry fees and donations via PayPal using the Donate button below. (Note: A PayPal account is not required to donate by credit card using the same button.)

Pumpkin Fest On a Saturday in October 2013, date to be announced. Come and enjoy pumpkin carving, hayrides, bluegrass music, and a pumpkin-hurling trebuchet at this popular joint fundraising event. Great food includes the signature black bean soup, cider, homemade bread, and much more! Proceeds from admissions, pumpkin sales, and other items benefit both Renfrew Institute and Renfrew Museum and Park.
